I agree 100%. I know a fellow that burned up 5 PSC p-pumps (due to rpm's)and went to POS steering. Sean at POS makes an extremly reliable p-pump, just don't add rear steer:eeek:
From the people I've talked to they all said it has to do with the resi, plumbing layout and cooling if your using a mild tweaked P pump. If you use the hotrodded super P pump they will blow up.
I added a couple idler pulleys to help get some more wrap on the Alternator.
